This was originally a 12th century French  hymn composed and sung in Latin.  It is now our modern day Christmas carol “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”

Veni Veni
By Mannheim Steamroller

Veni, veni Emmanuel;
Captivum solve Israel,
Qui gemit in exilio,
Privatus Dei Filio.

Gaude! Gaude! Emmanuel,
Nascetur pro te, Israel!

Veni, veni, O Oriens;
Solare nos adveniens,
Noctis depelle nebulas,
Dirasque noctis tenebras.
